MALABU OIL DEAL SHENANIGAN: PROF. ODITA QC. SAN PUTS RECORDS STRAIGHT, CAUTIONS SAHARA REPORTERS

Prof Odita SAN
Prof. Odita Qc. SAN who's name was caught up in Malibu oil scandal in a story Written by the Sahara reporter alleging that the erudite professor of Law testified to have benefited from the Malabu oil deal proceed in Millan has come out to set the record straight.

In his reaction to the alleged  story by the Sahara reporter he said "I refer to the above captioned publication of Monday, 20 May 2019.  captioned “QUEEN’S COUNSEL, FIDELIS ODITAH, BENEFICIARY OF $1.3 BILLION MALABU OIL DEAL, TESTIFIES IN MILAN” which were designed to smear and malign me and to give the totally false impression that I am a beneficiary of the controversial Malabu payment of US$1.3 billion when you knew that I am not. The headline and publication are a deliberate lie and malicious falsehood designed to paint me as a suspicious character, a man associated with money laundering, and an expert witness who failed to disclose that he has a conflict of interest and should not have given evidence in support of Eni in the Milan criminal proceedings. Your publication made it clear that its grievance is my assertion during my testimony in Milan on 15 May 2019 that the 2011 Resolution Agreements were valid (not the kickbacks which I did not mention) and that the recent challenge was politically motivated under pressure from international NGOs, because the Nigerian government had known about Dan Etete’s alleged involvement with Malabu since 2002. Indeed that was the reason given in Platts’ news release on 22 August 2002 as being the reason for the 2 July 2002 revocation of Malabu’s OPL 245 licence by the Obasanjo government. You knew that I did not benefit in any way from the US$1.3 billion Malabu payment and there is nothing in your publication that could conceivably support the suggestion that I was a beneficiary. You published your story under a sensational caption in order deliberately to damage my good character and unblemished reputation and diminish the impact of the evidence that I gave to the Milan court. Your publication has been republished widely by other online sources. In addition, since your publication, I have been contacted by many people around the world expressing surprise and disappointment that I received a part of the Malabu payment, but to your knowledge, I did not and none of the numerous investigations of the Malabu payment has revealed or suggested any benefit received by me directly or indirectly, knowingly or otherwise, from the US$1.3 billion Malabu payment. Your publication was therefore deliberately and unashamedly a libelous and malicious falsehood aimed solely at damaging my reputation and crippling my legal practice as a Queens Counsel and Senior Advocate of repute and integrity.

Let us not lose sight of prudent management of resources, this is where capacity rolls in.
In a complex environment like ours,  management of human relations is pivotal in steering the ship of the state.
Delta has experienced a whole lot of transformation in the last three years. From revamping of technical education to road infrastructure, the narratives changed a lot more for the better.

"OH AKPABIO" FALLIBILITY OF MORTAL MAN By EA Uzumnism.

Barr Eugene Uzum
Democracy has remained consistently on trial in Nigeria.  Before I venture into the nexus of Party Politics, Defections etc I want to take a quick look at GEJ's statements....during the run off of 2015 Presidential elections.

"That we have a choice between old ways and new ways, going forward and retrogression,  repression, impunity and rule of law"

GEJ also told us that we will remember him when he is gone.  He capped by saying "My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian"

Today same prophecy has come to pass.  We seen repression of the highest order in the history of Nigeria.  We live with Despotism, Nepotism and desperate hang on to power even at the cost of sacrificing our most revered democratic institution which is the National Assembly.

MR LEADER AT STATE AND LOCAL GOVT LEVEL...POLITICS WITHIN YOUR WARD DON'T SABOTAGE OUR PARTY

Barr Uzum
By EA Uzumnism.
Politics today, has metamorphosed into a local scientific game where one must key into the agenda of his primary constituency to make maximal impact.

In doing this, what must be taken into consideration is local content.  Local content in this context is the contributions of key players within the local parlance especially  in the everyday communication amongst the electorate.

Unfortunately in some axis, some leaders of the party will resurrect unnecessary squabbles among relevant and irrelevant stakeholders just to create avoidable factions within a ward to enable them have measure of control.  The question is what are they afraid of?  To my mind, such leaders have trust problem because they cannot even trust themselves.  They take ward leadership for a ride jettisoning contributions, trust,  development and brotherhood.  This has happened in most wards and still happening across the state.  These unhealthy development has created tension across board especially with the nod of some party leaders.  This is a sad and worrisome development that must be stemmed right away and now.

SHUT UP OSHIOMHOLE. THE POLITICAL OCEAN OF DELTA IS NOT FOR (ADAMS) A CATFISH FROM IYAMHO.

Barr Uzum & Oshiomhole
Gentlemen, It is no longer in dispute that Oshiomhole Adams the factional leader of APC is not a good manager of his tongue.
Oshiomhole has shown that he speaks before thinking. We call on our PDP supporters across Delta to remain calm amidst the vituperations of this drowning political puppet who sees Delta as an extension on his conquered territory Iyamho.
I make bold to state categorically that we will engage Oshiomhole on issue based Politics when due. In less than 5 weeks, Adams Oshiomhole has destroyed the fabrics of his weak party (APC) completely with the edge of his tongue.

2019: I WILL PURSUE LAWS THAT WILL PROTECT HOST COMMUNITIES -UDUAGHAN ASSURES

Dr Uduaghan & Host COM members
By Monoyo Edon
The immediate past Governor of Delta State Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has promised to pursue a robust inclusion of Host Communities in the Oil and Gas industry when he gets the blessing of Delta South people to represent them at the Senate in 2019.
Dr. Uduaghan frowned at what he described as “the shortchange of host communities in the dividends from the Oil and Gas industry.” A situation he attributed to the delay in the passage of the Petroleum Industry Governance Bill (PIGB) into law.
“Our communities deserve to have investments in the IOCs as is obtainable in UAE and other Asian countries where host communities are key players in the Oil and Gas industry. Once host communities are effectively carried along, lasting peace and security would be easy to achieve.”
These were Dr. Uduaghan’s words when he played host to the Itsekiri Chapter of Host Communities of Nigeria (Producing Oil and Gas) at his Warri residence earlier today.
