AHEAD OF 2019: WHY GOV OKOWA CANNOT BE SEPARATED FROM HIS ACHIEVEMENTS

The nexus of leadership is providing the basics of life to the people.  Protection of lives and properties as well, is of crucial importance. Ensuring food sufficiency,  securing health and infrastructure is key in gauging development strides.

 Let us not lose sight of prudent management of resources, this is where capacity rolls in.
In a complex environment like ours,  management of human relations is pivotal in steering the ship of the state.
Delta has experienced a whole lot of transformation in the last three years. From revamping of technical education to road infrastructure, the narratives changed a lot more for the better.



 Health care delivery has moved from archaic to a very appreciable standard and is competing favourably within its ranks in the wider Nigerian context.

 Prompt payment of workers salaries is now a given.  Job creation in Delta through the Novel job creation office is second to none and the best among the rest.

 Delta state exports modules to the wider world, haven created over 40,000 jobs on the value chain.
Delta state Government has as well left no stone unturned in ensuring that Deltan's live in peace.

 These and others are critical issues that will take centre stage as we herald 2019. Gov Okowa has handed in a very good account  of himself.  The road master as he is fondly called has delivered beyond the expectations of Deltans considering the shaky start as a result of the recession.

 The Directorate of Orientation has commenced  a program tagged: "Promise Made and Promise Kept", showcasing the giant strides of HE  Gov Ifeanyi Okowa in line with his manifesto just before 2015 general elections.  The reward for hard work is more work therefore Deltans will do well to reaffirm the continuity of our smart Governors initiative  come 2019.
