The immediate past Executive Assistant on Orientation to the Delta State Governor, Barr. Eugene Azuka Uzum, has told the new Appointees that the time for honey moon is over while urging them to show capacity by proving to deltans and the world that Governor Okowa was right to have appointed them.
Barr. Uzum who is also the Executive Director of the Uzumnism Leadership Network, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, made this known the press, on the 23 July, 2019, at the House complex, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
The former Orientation Boss while urging them that time for honey moon was over also encouraged them to show strength and capability in their stay in office.
The outspoken former Orientation Boss and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stressed that the men and women screened are noble enough with strong character credentials to blow the air for transformation which is why the Governor has deemed fit to make them members of his cabinet and also members of the state executive council.
In his words,"Though they are trusted men and women, who have displayed leadership charisma that has made our dear Governor to entrust these responsibilities to them, but truth be told, they should be made to understand that time for honey moon has gone, this is time to work. So, I urge them to be on their toes while proving their capacity.
"Our Governor is a known smart and result oriented man who has a natural impulse of achieving results. therefore, much is expected of them to help Our dear Governor consolidate on what he has achieved so far".
" It is also a known fact that to whom Mach is given much is expected, and so, people expect much from them and to achieve this much, great effort is required. They should display the characteristics of that of a champion, because the governor is a champion, he added
