MR LEADER AT STATE AND LOCAL GOVT LEVEL...POLITICS WITHIN YOUR WARD DON'T SABOTAGE OUR PARTY

Politics today, has metamorphosed into a local scientific game where one must key into the agenda of his primary constituency to make maximal impact.

In doing this, what must be taken into consideration is local content.  Local content in this context is the contributions of key players within the local parlance especially  in the everyday communication amongst the electorate.

Unfortunately in some axis, some leaders of the party will resurrect unnecessary squabbles among relevant and irrelevant stakeholders just to create avoidable factions within a ward to enable them have measure of control.  The question is what are they afraid of?  To my mind, such leaders have trust problem because they cannot even trust themselves.  They take ward leadership for a ride jettisoning contributions, trust,  development and brotherhood.  This has happened in most wards and still happening across the state.  These unhealthy development has created tension across board especially with the nod of some party leaders.  This is a sad and worrisome development that must be stemmed right away and now.

Abuja and Asaba leaders from the top should desist from such acts capable of causing tension.  Party leadership must respect the various hierarchy within the wards or face a revolt from the managers of ward affairs.  No right thinking party man should create alternative power blocks outside our Party structure.  No to ward polarisation.  That a leader is privileged to hold key position does not as well vest powers to weaken laid down leadership rather leaders should support the party by building capacities, throwing up electable candidates for elections and keying into best practice party rules. Our party will be better appreciated with cohesive conducts.

As custodians of our party, we must close in with a stitch in time to save time.
