Anthony Obuh |
This assertion was made at his Agbor residence on Saturday where he played host to select party leaders.
Obuh said; "I have consistently said that I am not running for any election. It is this absence of any encumbrance that emboldened me to appeal to Hon Collins Bello to call for a leadership meeting in my house. We need to talk to ourselves especially now that the primaries are coming fast. We must not go to the main elections with bruises. We can avoid this if we realise that party primary is an in-house affair that must not generate perennial acrimony."
He appealed to the leaders of the PDP in Ika South to work hard to strengthen the party. According to him, the best way to support Gov Ifeanyi Okowa remains uniting members of the party irrespective of their groupings.
The meeting which was massively attended had various speakers on party unity, fair primaries and loyalty.
