I Never Believed In Okowa's Administration Until I Met One Of His Aides....... Chukwuka Ejime, A Beneficiary Of Hon. Sunny Ogwu Kind Gesture Opens Up

"As a young boy, my parents desired to give me the best in life. They worked hard. In fact, in order that they might give me the best, they created a vacuum by exposing me to the care of strangers.

Not too long into the journey of my life, I had started smoking and was exposed to so many bad things at the early stage of my innocent life.

Though, my parents never knew anything. All these vices affected my life adversely. I stopped been a promising child. I became a source of sorrow to my parents. My father gave up on me while my mother would look at me and burst into tears. Neighbours made sure that their children kept a distance. I also lost all hope of ever making any success in life.

Thank God, my story changed when I stumbled on Hon. Sunny Ogwu, when he newly assumed office as SUBEB Chairman, Delta State, Nigeria. A man who knows how its hurts. He was skilled in mending the hopeless pieces of my yielded life. He gave me what no one had given me and I had a great peace.

He helped me, encouraged me and gave me the love that I had lacked. He advised me and asked me to go and acquire skill that can help me to be a man and also combat the challenges of life.

He encouraged me to  apply for YAGEP Program and expedited on it just to make sure that my name is shortlisted. Through YAGEP, I learnt a skill that is not only feeding me and my immediate family but my relatives that abandoned me.

When my family members saw that I was  cool headed and enhanced financially, they started coming close to me again not just for love but with their financial demands. They are holding me in high esteem in the family.

Former DTHA Members Petition Okowa Over Unpaid Allowances and severances Allowances

Three former members of the Delta State House of Assembly in the last administration have petitioned Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over their unpaid allowances and severances.

The letter further reads: "we are further informed that the severance and allowances for the members of the House and that of their aides which falls due at the end of 2011-2015 session has also not been paid up till date".

RE: A SENATOR AND HIS INORDINATE AMBITION

As usual, his political surrogates rose up in his defence. Delta Decides were called all sorts of names but we were not deterred nor bothered by their rantings because we know what we were saying.

DELTA 2015: My Honest Opinion – Elder Dr. Chukwuma Nwaonicha

Dr Ifeanyi Okowa

A one time governorship aspirant in Delta State, Elder Dr. Chukwuma Nwaonicha has during the week during a chat with Ika Weekly at Agbor spoke about the Delta State governship race in 2015. The elder statesman did not betray any emotion as he specifically chose Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the best man for the job.

In his words, “in my honest opinion, Delta State governorship race in 2015 will be based on proven personality and integrity and not on the fact that Delta State is predominantly a People s Democratic Party, PDP state or through empty boasting by some aspirants who cannot even win the party nomination in their local government. These aspirants are only trying to make themselves relevant which is the beauty of democracy. However, as I observed 2015 election in Delta State is not for politicians that are rude, arrogant, unscrupulous, mischief makers and liars.
