ORIENTATION BUREAU TO TRAIN PRO's, MEDIA PRACTITIONERS ON WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

The Delta State Bureau of Orientation led by Azuka Eugene Uzum Esq. has concluded plans to train state Public Relations Officers and Media Practitioners attached to Government ministries, extra - ministerial departments and agencies on website management with the theme; Effective Harnessing Of Internet Potentials for a stronger Delta on Thursday 28th November, 2019 at Ministry of Information hall, Asaba Delta State Nigeria.



Uzum who made this known in his office in Asaba, Delta State Nigeria immediately after the office weekly strategic meeting With the staff of the Bureau noted that with effective website management Government can achieve their set goals and objective through her agencies, ministries, and extra - ministerial departments.

The DG further opined that website management entails a number of different services that are combined together to keep any organizations website running without having to worry about it and as such, to a very large extent, profits organizations to train their information officers on website management.

He said that the Governor in his quest to have competent hands has decided to train staff of Government parastatals and MDAs on the management and use of website noting that it will bring about proficiency .

Commenting on it, Mrs. Macaulay, the director of Orientation asserted that Governor Okowa is media friendly and has taken it upon himself to train media practitioners on issues that relate to website management. In addition, she advised that the trainees should take full advantage of the opportunity as their value would be increased via expansion of knowledge.

The training which is aimed at increasing the competency of media practitioners and PRO's attached to Government agencies, extra - ministerial departments will be declared open by the Secretary to the State Government, Chiedu Ebie Esq. at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Information along Summit - Illah Road in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria at 10:00am prompt.
