The President, Delta Integrity Group, Comrade Johnpaul Okonma has revealed how his group campaigned for the reelection of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

The President, Comrade Okonma made the revelation on Thursday at Asaba when he led the group's executives on a visit to the office of the Senior Political Adviser to the governor, Rt. Hon Solomon Funkekeme.



Comr Okonma said his group registered with Youths and Sports Development and the PDP campaign organization in the state. "We toured round the various wards campaigning for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and governor Okowa."

"We saw that things were not working out on social media so we engaged three known bloggers with a hastag 'DIG4OKOWA', he added.

He further disclosed that DIG has embarked on a widows empowerment in the entire local governments with the aims of elevating them.

While commending the group for their hard work during and after the campaigns, Hon Fenkekeme said their profile shows DIG has integrity.

"Integrity is not leap service, but a way of life and ensuring the entire Deltans are happy. DIG must continue to be reliable, independable as governor Okowa is a youth friendly governor."

"He has spread developments across the state. I urge you all to continue to support governor Okowa to build a stronger delta," he added.
