The trio of Mr Peter Idion(Special Assistant to the executive governor of Delta State,on Community Relations and Convener, Bridge Builders), Hon Chuks Emuebie (Chairman, Bridge Builders) and Hon Fred Ofume(immediate past Chairman, Ika South Local Government and now Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Environment), have in separate remarks during an enlarged meeting of Bridge Builders,a political group for Governor Ifeanyi today 30th April 2018 at Agbor said that the the governor's re-election in 2019 is a done deal.

They asserted that Bridge Builders as a  group that has gained enormous reception in Ika South is no more talking of how to win the 2019 gubernatorial election for Okowa but, how to deliver community votes for him.

According to the Chairman of the group, Emuebie,"Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has performed excellently well for all Deltans. Testimonies of the excellent performance of Okowa in less than three years in office are everywhere in the state. It is because of this track record, the leaders and members of Bridge Builders are working tirelessly to deliver community votes for our dear governor in 2019. Our target as a group is to penetrate every community in Ika South, sack the opposition and make sure they cast all their votes for Okowa in 2019. My members are not going to relent until this target is achieved in 2019. All the persons joining our great party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP through Bridge Builders were foot soldiers and grassroots mobilizers when they were in the opposition.Their coming have made our job easier. Collectively, we are going to get a landslide victory for our governor in next year's gubernatorial election."

On the part of the Convener, Idion who was overwhelmed with joy over the speedy achievements of Bridge Builders ahead of the 2019 elections said that there is nothing that will stop the re-election of Governor Okowa in 2019. According to him,"Okowa has transformed every local government in the state through his SMART and Prosperity Agenda for all Deltans."

He disclosed that members of his group are strongly committed to the Okowa's re-election project and will leave no stone unturned till an excellent result is achieved in 2019. We are proud of our governor, we will continue to give him our full support and pray for his success in office. If you are an opposition member in Ika South please renounced your membership and join Okowa to build a better future for us and our children yet unborn. Whoever that desires a better future should join the moving train, Gov. Okowa is the moving train. The opposition has failed woefully, building your tent there will be disastrous. So,join hands with us to re-elect a governor whose name is synonymous with growth and development."

For the immediate past Ika South Council Chairman and Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Environment, Hon Fred Ofume,"Hardworking and able bodied Nigerian youths should join hands with the PDP to bury the opposition in Delta State in 2019.Okowa's re-election next year is a done deal, we are only working in order to score more votes for the governor. President Muhammadu Buhari government is clueless, so we don't want a clueless government in Delta State. Okowa is performing very well in the state and he will rule us till 2023.The best way to say thank you to a focused, people-oriented, performing and selfless governor like Okowa is to allow him continue in office for the overall good of all of us."

High point of the well attended meeting was the joyous reception of Pastor Hitman Abaye Ozabor, a former APC Councilorship aspirant in Ward 3 and the man who trekked from Benin to Daura, Katsina State in support of President Muhammdu Buhari who unfortunately, he now described as a failure and disappointment to Nigerians. Also welcomed today into the Bridge Builders political family is an Agbor based businesswoman, Mrs Caroline Brown, popularly known as, Okpohoka Ibeh. Present at the meeting were the leaders, co-ordinators and members of the group drawn from the twelve federal wards in Ika South, George Ugbobu, Obi Okoh, former pdp ika south woman leader Abaye, Hon. Last K, Hon. Abanimoro, hon Ewere Scala Nzeh former ward 4 PDP chairman, prince Sunny Akaeze, Also including members of the Hausa and  College of Education, Agbor Communities led by Philip Igumbor Jnr.
