DELTA 2015: EK CLARK KNOCKS OUT ORUBEBE.

Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe
That the Ijaw born ex Minister for Niger Delta Affairs has been relieved of his post is no longer a news. What has become a new revelation is the role played by Chief EK Clark a fellow kinsman of Mr Orubebe in shoving him out of the federal cabinet.

Chief EK Clark, highly considered the grand dad of Delta state politics and one of the right hand men of President Jonathan was said not to have hidden his displeasure on Mr Orubebe and his corrupt tendencies as it concerns his role in the East West road contract.

It would be recalled that Chief Clark had in the time past condemned Mr Orubebe over his handling of the only visible federal govt contract that runs through Ijaw land and entire South South and had in association with some anti corruption organs made frantic efforts to get Mr Orubebe prosecuted for the crime he committed against the South South through his shallow handling of the project.

Finally, it is believed that Chief Clark has finally succeeded in booting out Mr Orubebe whom he addresses as that ''boy''.

It is expected that the call on the anti graft agency to interrogate and prosecute Mr Orubebe will intensify any moment from now.

In run to the Delta state governorship race of which it is rumored that Mr Orubebe is interested, Chief Clark had some months ago made it obvious to the self acclaimed preacher that he cannot be governor of Delta state.

Whether the sacking of Orubebe and the expected prosecution by the anti graft agency will be one of the reasons the Ijaw high chief vowed to Mr Orubebe that he cannot be governor of Delta state, is yet to be known but one thing clear is that Mr Orubebe having being sacked unceremoniously for alleged criminal acts, is in big political trouble.
