Bermy Mercy, a foundation formed with the sole aim of advocating against early child marriage and child abuse in and outside the country over the weekend rescued a victim, a 13-year-old girl from Isoko, Delta State, from the hand of a 70 year old man with three wives by name, Manila Mustafa.
The Foundation's spokesperson disclosed this to some members of Delta Decides at Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
According to the spokesman, the said old man paid the Bride Price of 10,000 naira on two installments to the girl's parents with some Tubers of yam and some noodles.
