EJELE IS THREATENING ME BECAUSE I REFUSED TO STEP DOWN AS DELTA NURTW CHAIRMAN -- Araro

Comr. Araro
The Delta State Chapter Chairman Of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Chief Comrade Dennis Araro has alleged that Michael Diden, popularly known as, Ejele, is threatening his life because he refused to step down as Chairman of the Union.

Speaking to newsmen over the weekend, Comrade Araro said it has become necessary to alert Deltans about Ejele's threat because he refused to step down for Comrade Francis Ariyo who he said is the in-law to the Delta State Honourable Commissioner for transport , Mr. Oviemuno Oghoore

Araro noted that he is a staunch supporter of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and has been with Okowa even before many of them who are working against him  joined the camp.

His words," I  was the Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW,  before I was removed by  a political actor in Ika South local government because I was loyal to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. Today, the man the political actor used to succeed me as Chairman, NURTW, Ika South, Ameachi Igumbor has joined  the camp of Okowa and wants to pull me down. I am watching and praying that Okowa knows that I have suffered for him."

Responding to the allegation that he bribed the National President of NURTW,Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa with the sum of 40milion naira. He said that it was a blatant lie and described it as a figment of imagination, stating that he never met with the National President, until recently. He described his emergence as the Lords Doing.
Mr Diden(Ejele)

Speaking further, Araro disclosed that it was Ejele  and Comrade Ariyo who allegedly gave the National President of the Union the sum of 13million naira and 8million Naira respectively to enable him(Ejele) install Ariyo as the State Chairman of NURTW in Delta State.

" When I heard that Ejele gave The National President money, I went to see him and he told me that the information I got about the alleged bribe was a lie and that if Ejele and cohorts said they gave him money, they should come and take their money",he stated

He appealed  Governor,  Okowa who he described as a passionate leader to use his good office to restore peace as his Union is working towards helping the state Government to achieve his SMART agenda.

He accused Ejele of having a hand behind the troubles in the Union, declaring that Ejele is not a member of the Union and wonders why he wants to install Ariyo who did not obtain form to contest the Chairmanship election in the state.

Hon  Michael Diden, also called, Ejele is the immediate past House of Assembly Member representing the people of Warri North Constituency and the current Chairman, Delta State Oil Producing Communities, DESOPADEC, while Comrade Francis Ariyo is the Delta State Chairman of Delta Committee on Public Motor Parks also known as UP Delta.

Efforts to get Ejele's response proved abortive as he is yet to reply a text message sent to him as at the time of publishing this report.
