A Community Leader and a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Innocent Apokwueze, aka, Ayuba, has urged Christian in the State to imitate Christ as beloved Christians in this period of Easter Celebration.
Ayuba who disclosed this in his Asaba residence asserted that the only way we can overcome this Pandemic ravaging the world is by showing love to those around us during and after this Easter Celebration.
The Community leader further emphasized that the easter Celebration was as a result of the unquantifiable love God showed mankind which is why he sent his only begotten son to die for us.
His words," the act of Easter Celebration is an act of Love God showed to mankind which is why Christ died for us".
Continuing, he encouraged Christians to remain focused noting that only with the power of the death and Resurrection of our lord that we can overcome this COVID-19 Pandemic that is unexplainably killing man all around the world.
The Outspoken leader further stressed that while we stay at home and celebrate this Easter, we should remember to adhere strictly to the preventive measures issued by the Government to contain the Pandemic ravaging the world.
