Your Work For Okowa Will Not Go Unrewarded---Idion Tells Community Young Ladies

Special Assistant to the executive governor of Delta State,on Community Relations and Convener,Bridge Builders, Mr Peter Idion, has charged members of the newly inaugurated Community Young Ladies group, in Ika South Local Government to work wholeheartedly for Okowa in his re-election bid in 2019,maintaining that no one works for the governor and go unrewarded.
Idion who gave the advice, yesterday,May 23,2018 shortly after the inauguration of the group in Agbor,added that its primary assignment should be how to canvass support for Okowa, urging them to embark on house to house visitations and sensitize the public on the need to participate in the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC voters registration exercise. He pointed out that Permanent Voter Card,PVC is the right of any Nigerian at the age of 18 and above to vote in an election,hence,he is calling on the people of Ika South to participate fully in the exercise to enable them vote for Okowa for a second term in office next year. He promised to keep the group alive through financial assistance,stressing that all hands must be on deck as plans to re-elect Okowa in 2019 unfold.
The state PDP Financial Secretary,Hon Ralph Azeh,who spoke during the ceremony called for patience, saying that everyone cannot benefit at once from government. He asserted that as leaders of tomorrow,the youths should be committed and focused in whatever they are doing.
"As you are inaugurated today,do your best to help canvass support for Governor Okowa. Do not be in a hurry,do your assignment well and avoid distraction. Okowa has your interest at heart,he will not disappoint you. Get your PVCs ready and convince others to get their own too. In all, always be reminded that the re-election of Governor Okowa is a task that must be accomplished in 2019.
Earlier, while inaugurating the group which has Ann Morka as the Local Co-ordinator,the Chairman, Ika South Community Youths,Comrade Friday Orubor called for seriousness among the members, stressing that no stone should be left unturned as the 2019 governorship election draws near. He congratulated the members and enjoined them to show one hundred percent commitment as they carry out their assignment.
