Just yesterday when Delta Decides broke the news of an attack targeted at Dr. Festus okubor’s coordinator who is the PDP youth leader in Ika north east local government council by thugs suspected to be a loyalist of a serving senator, we were called names and also accused of tarnishing the senator’s image but now,we are justified as an Anioma group has written on how the campaign coordinator was attacked.

2015: A DESPERATION TOO FAR.:OKOWA AND THE FOLKLORE TORTOISE
Senator Ifeanyi Okowa may not wish to have a repeat of this week again in his political journey. Everything negative seems to be trailing the step of this Owa born Medical Doctor turned politician.

Less than 6 hours after a controversial news item was published by AV-News, Anioma Crime Watch News has received over 30 reports centered around this distinguish Senator who also is vying for the state top seat come 2015. According to one of such reports from one Ambrose Osanebi, it was alleged that some thugs suspected to be loyalists of the Senator had attacked one Hon Friday Okoh Hero,a youth leader in Ika North East, a known supporter of another governorship aspirant, Dr Festus Okubor.It was alleged that the thugs numbering about 10 who were out to kill the said Hon Friday Hero decided to vent their anger on a Pilot SUV car belonging to their target when they could not get him. The said suspected thugs ,ACW-News gathered are from same community with Hon Friday Hero .

Another informant has it that the thugs were led by one Friday Eluro and that their mission was to kill Hon Friday Hero for being an Ika saboteur.

The reason for this accusation being that Hon Hero is the media campaign head for the Dr Festus Okubor's team. Though, this information may come as a shock to some Deltans but it would be recalled that ACW-News did publish the threat of one of the thugs working for the senator when he issued a statement that ''Whosoever that is against Senator Okowa will be killed'' We hopecthat the attack on Hon Friday Hero is not an execution of the threat by one of the supporters of Senator Okowa.

It is said that the police intervened and the thugs arrested and detained. ACW-News attempts to speak to any of the officers of the Senator Okowa team did not yield any result as at time of filing the report.

Delta Decides is using this opportunity to call on the various aspirants to call their supporters to order as we cannot sit and watch people selfishly introduce the politics of bitterness in our land.
