Uzum Inspires Success With Leadership Network

It was an atmosphere of learning on Saturday  as the Kelechi Hall, Hotel Benizia, Asaba was filled to capacity when the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Orientation, Azuka Eugene Uzum mentored youths on Leadership.

Uzum, a lawyer cum politician while mentoring the youths on a "45 Minutes With Uzum" with the theme 'Youths And Leadership, The Missing Link' defined leadership as the human mechanism which encompasses the ability to chronicle all definitions of leadership itself, internalize it to manage people, situations and create solutions to issues in a given clime.



The Orientation boss said, ''Leadership comes in different perspective. At every level and circumstance, there is always the need to show leadership. Either in terms of, Transformational leadership, Lasissez-faire leadership, Democratic/Participative Leadership, Transactional leadership, Charismatic leadership, Autocratic leadership and Strategic leadership or Coaching leadership."

He explained that adding value, improving lives, proffering solutions, creating a better society and very importantly, raising leaders, is the whole essence of leadership, A task for all.

Uzum, who is the Director, Uzumnism Leadership Network urged the participating audience to tap into credible resource reserves of institutions of Government and even individuals. "We must set role models and benchmark with practical empirical landmarks. This is because what a People see emboldens their mindset, vision and behavioural pattern," he added.

Other invited guests who spoke at the seminar include, Mr. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, the Chief Press Secretary to the State governor, Mrs Simite Bello, Executive Secretary on  Small and Medium Scale Enterprises among others.
