Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has been urged to avert impending bloodbath in Egwedu Community in Njaba Local Government Area of the State following 16 years of crisis over the contest for the traditional stool and the President-General of the community.
The Chairman of Uburu Ahiara village in Egwedu Autonomous Community, and an Onitsha based business man, Chief Eric Uwoma made the call while speaking with newsmen in Onitsha, Anambra State.
Chief Uwoma who is also the Chairman of Onitsha South Shop Owners Traders Association of Nigeria, OSSOTAN, Onitsha Anambra state alleged that some people were benefiting in the crisis, while the entire community have been plunged into backwardness due to the crisis.
