The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political matters and a community leader, Sir Idion Peter has admonished Christians to be good ambassadors of Christ in this season of his Birth.
Idion who is also the convener of a formidable political pressure group, known as Bridge Builders in Ika South local government made this know today, 24th December 2019. He continuously stressed that Christians ought to represent Christ in their actions and deeds of kindness and benevolence especially in the season of his birth.
He further asserted that the only way we can have peaceful coexistence in the State is when the love which Christ represents is demonstrated freely and in abundance
The community leader and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said that without love, equal treatments of people would not be possible. He believes a good leader should allow love to lead and direct him as a person.
He reiterated that no man can get it right if the spirit of Christ is not manifested in him. While further explaining, he used Governor Okowa as a very good example of a man who is love by personification.
These are his final wishes” I am using this medium to wish all my Christian brothers and Sisters especially those in the PDP family and other Nigerians Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year”.
