APC Interested Only in 2019, not in Welfare of Nigerians--Rev. Nwachukwu

The All Progressives Congress (APC), has been accused of not having the interest of the country at heart but was  only concerned with how to win the 2019 presidential election.

The General Overseer of Bible Base Assembly, Rev. Jerry  Nwachukwu,  who stated this in in an interview with newsmen in Onitsha, Anambra State said  the party which has been in  control of power for the past three years and some months now don't care about the sufferings of Nigerians but how to continue to hold the lever of power in 2019.

"They don't care of those who are hungry. They don't care of those who are dying. They don't care of those who are unemployed. They don't care how to grow the economy.The problem is that APC are made of selfish group of people" he said.



Rev. Nwachukwu queried  if the impeachment of the Senate leadership will give APC automatic victory in 2019, asserting that the masses will determine whether election would be rigged or not.

He said the sack of the director-general of Department of State Security (DSS), Lawal Daura,  was a face -saving measure, arguing that there was no way he would have acted on his own alone.

He said "if the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, who is a Pastor cannot tell Nigerians the truth who will tell them .There is a problem. And remember if they reject the truth, God will reject them also.The sack was to save face but was too late because Timi Frank, former deputy national publicity secretary had told  Nigerians months ago that they were going to besiege the National Assembly and in reality they did it".

But the General Overseer said what happened was the fulfilment of what God told him in May this year  that he would put confusion in APC as they would continue to make mistakes.

"To me what happened has the hand of God and it is a hand writing on the wall that APC need to retrace their steps  because it is no more accusation, it is an act.And permit to say that what motivated    Daura to lead the  operation may also lead the  leaders of  APC to make the mistake that may sink them." Nwachukwu said.

He continued " doing things without considering the interest of the public is an act that hinders political development and negates the principles of democracy. Even God respects constituted authority. So what of humans".
