DELTA 2015: Okowa's Team Dares Jonathan....Threatens To Sink Delta State

The campaign media team of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has threatened to sink delta state should President Jonathan impose Elder Godsday Orubebe on the state party.

In a message sent out to Deltans by the assistant media director, Mr.Alex Okunbor, which reads ''President Goodluck Jonathan must realize that Delta State is not Bayelsa State where he can do what he likes, and any attempt to impose Orubebe on us will be resisted. ‘’If he is bent on pulling down Delta, let him go ahead we help him sink Delta state . “In the light of the weighty allegations of corruption against Mr. Orubebe coupled with his many sins and failure to deliver on his mandate, we demand for his immediate resignation as cabinet member.’’

The team calls on anti-graft agencies to commence the immediate investigation of all allegations of corruption against the Minister in the interest of fairness and justice. ‘’As for his unbridled 2015 Governorship ambition, we wish to maintain that the Chief Edwin Clark has spoken. There is no way he can make it. He can never be the Governor of Delta State.”
