Mr. Onyeka Akwaeze, who is a Special Assistant to the Senator elect, told newsmen in Onitsha nobody can stop them from moving into Government House , Awka in 2021.
He said "we are now planning for 2021. We are moving there. Nobody can stop us".
He said plots by Uba family (Chris and Andy) of Uga in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State to snatch the Senatorial victory of Ifeanyi Ubah will hit the rock.
Akwaeze popularly called Ayaka said Uba's are specialists in clinching their victories through Court but this time they would fail because God has a hand in the electoral victory of Ifeanyi Ubah.
He said in 2015 Ifeanyi Ubah fought Obijackson in Ihiala in Local Government Area of the State because of Andy Uba but unfortunately the same Andy is fighting Ifeanyi now over his electoral victory in the last National Assembly election.
He said the Senate seat of Anambra South was not meant for Ubah family alone, stressing that it was first Ugochukwu Uba, then followed by Andy and Chris is warming up this time around.
"May be after Chris, they will call their sister. It is not possible. It is not a dynasty. Ifeanyi beat the Uba's in their own town , Uga. Can't they see that the people don't want them anymore?".
Continuing Akwaeze said "There is God's hand in Ifeanyi Ubah's victory. They should go and rest. There power has gone. Twenty of them cannot remove Ifeanyi Ubah as Senator.They cannot stop Ifeanyi Ubah from going to Senate. They have had their share. Power is transient. It is not permanent".
The Federal High Court sitting in Awka had given the Independent Electoral Commission 14 days to investigate the alleged announcement of the Anambra South Senatorial result under duress by the Returning Officer, who later denied.
The order was sequel to an action filed by Chris Ubah, PDP candidate in that election against the declaration of Ubah as the Senator -elect for the Anambra South Senatorial zone.
