What do think is the way out of the present effort to undermine democracy by the removal of CJN, Onoghen?
On the issue Walter Omoghen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), the constitution is very very clear but if somebody is selfish and self centered he will go contrary to the process. I am not supporting corruption but if Onoghen has committed anything the president should exercised patience and go through the normal process to remove him. If he is found wanting he can force him through due process but going through the window and through the back door is not expected of a man that seem to be called Mr. integrity. To me, in this regard, the man is not fighting corruption but he is himself corrupt and when water is bad from the source, it will affect every part of the river. To me as a clergy man, l am suggesting that the president should do the needful.
He has already taken terrible action, now the hope of Nigeria is lying on National Judicial Council (NJC). The NJC should not mess the themselves up by supporting up by supporting what the President has done. Let the matter go through due process and at the end of the day if the man is really guilty, he should go, Nigerians have qualified people. The next in command should take over if he has done wrong. So he should go through due process.
What is your take on the altercation between Nwodo and Governor Obiano?
On the issue of Obiano and Nwodo, the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, I want to say Ohaneze Ndigbo will remain but gov errors will come and go.Nwodo will not be the last PG of Ohaneze, insult on Nwodo is an insult on Ndigbo. As the Governor of Anambra state Obiano has the choice to vote for candidate of his choice but insulting Nwodo is an insult on Ndigbo both home and abroad and it is not a good example; he should retrace his step and caution his aides that are making nonsense and offensive comments against Ndigbo, not Nwodo. As a people we have right to choose whom we will support, We have actually said, we are supporting Atiku and Obi ticket. Who among us will vote against his own child, it will be terrible if Igbos didn’t support Atiku /Obi ticket. Even if they would not win the election we should stand by our brothers. The bible we preach and we believe as Christians says we should be our brothers keeper.
The personal misunderstanding between Peter Obi and Governor Willie Obiano should not be used against the interest of Ndigbo. It is personal issues between them. They should sort themselves out. This should not be a ground the Gov of Anambra state would be using to fight against the ticket given to Atiku, who brought Obi as his running mate. Ndigbo stand a chance to gain more if Atiku becomes the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria than Buhari. Few days ago, the Lord reveals to me that Buhari himself has no agenda for South South and South East of the country. In his mind he has used a kind of iron fence to cross his mind, to caught us out of his programme. Whatever that will come to us, shall be something he cannot stop like paying federal workers, appointing Ministers, but to give us juicy and sensitive position he will not do it. This morning, the Lord told me that the problem of this country is coming from politicians, from selfish South West politicians. They are the major problems of this country, that is what the Lord told me this morning. People like Woe Soyinka and co are no more criticising the government, where is our brother in faith, Tunde Bakare? He can no more talk again. He can no more organize pretest because the president is his friend. He can’t talk again. l am a advising Igbos to stop messing ourselves up, we should form a we should form a common front. We should stand for one goal and vision. There is no plan for Igbo man to succeed Buhari in 2023. if an Igbo will ever become a president, he would come through PDP if Atiku wins. We should stop deceiving ourselves and if we miss it now, it will take very long time. So, I am advising Igbos both homeve and in diaspora and in all over the country to collectively vote for Atiku. That is the platform that will favour Ndigbo. lam not a politician. l am a voice from the pulpit, lam advising you no to sell your conscience and enslave your children and unborn children forever. We have seen our brother the Vice-President Osibajo trying to do something right, but the forces against him would not allow him. There are somethings the president refused to do that he stepped out to try to do like the appointment of Matthew as Acting Director General of DSS, he did it when the President went for medical attention abroad but he came back and clearly showed he had no plan for the South as he removed the Bayelsa man. It was a terrible slap that Onoghen from Akwa Ibom was removed and replaced byJustice Tanko from Bauchi. What are we saying about Ganduje, Kano State Governor that was caught red handed. What have they done to him.
What of the grass cutter former SGF, Babachir Lawal? What of the money they saw at building in Lagos. They said wanted to file charges against them apparently due to pressure by Nigerians but they could not. What of Chief of Army Staff who allegedly built housing estates in Dubai ? What of the removed DSS Director General who embarrassed the Senate? How he messed our Senate up and nothing happened to him.
So what are we saying ? from the head that’s President Buhari to the toes that his ministers and other aides they should live Nigeria alone and in no distant time there will be political judgment from heaven in this country and everybody shall have the reward of what he/she has done to this nation.
What advice do you have for our people about the voting as the election is just few days from now?
Lam not talking to only Ndigbo. lam talking to the entire Nigerians. They should vote en masse for PDP. Atiku will be 100 percent better than Buhari .We should go out there and vote for a candidate who is a job creator or, who has ran business for years. And remember, how Obi created jobs in Anambra state by bringing in multi nationa companies that built factories in the state.Voting for Atiku/Obi is voting for employment.
Voting for Buhari is voting for massive unemployment. The choice is yours it it better to be late than the late.
