The Special Assistant to governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state, on Youths Mobilization, Hon. Ochei Kennedy, has said that Sen. Dr. Okowa is the only governor that has empowered the youths across the 25 Local Government areas.
Hon. Ochei disclosed this to newsmen on Monday, 18th December 2017, at Government House, Asaba.
Hon. Ochei said: "As at today, the present administration, through its STEP and YAGEP programmes, has empowered over 40, 000 youths and half of his cabinet members are youths.
"Governor Okowa is a youth friendly governor..
"No governor in Nigeria have empowered the youths the way Gov. Okowa did.
Hon. Ochei further added that Delta state youths were very happy with the Governor for taking them off the streets.
