There are palpable tension in Asaba, Delta state capital as four suspected cases of Monkeypox was recorded in Federal Medical Centre on Thursday.
The suspected cases DELTA DECIDES gathered is being attended to by Public Health Department and Infectious Disease Control Committee.
A staff at the centre who craved anonymity disclosed that blood samples of the suspected cases have been collected and sent to World Health Organization lab in Senegal for confirmation.
Three of the patients are from Ogwashi Ukwu, while one is from Ibusa.
