ASARI DOKUBO: DELTA SOCIAL ACTIVIST UNMASKS THE'' FIFTH COLUMNIST IN HIM''.

Alhaji Almajhud Asari Dokubo

Juliet Ogadi, the Delta social activist based in the UK has again channeled her torch light on one of the most notorious noise makers in present day Nigeria, Alhaj Almajhud Asari Dokubo a well known associates of the Muslim northerners of Nigeria.

In this short but informative piece, this Delta born crusader takes a critical peep into the political activities of Asari Dokubo and his unaccountable and unbecoming war cries against a people he had always fraternize with before his kinsman President Jonathan ascended the throne of leadership.
As usual and in her true color, she hits the nail directly.

Excerpts.
Those of us goading Asari Dokubo over his highly insensitive and inflammatory outbursts that threaten national security, the corporate existence of this nation and potential for disastrous election outing for GEJ in 2005 need to have a serious re-think.

I say this as the last time I checked, GEJ was not installed as President through Ijaw votes only. He had wide spread votes and support from across Nigeria. If it is settled that politics is a game of number, then making inflammatory statements that tend to rubbish those whose vote GEJ would require to come back in 2015 is a dumb strategy.

Reaching out, persuading them and building bridges appear to the sensible method. GEJ is not ethnic President and comments that tend to portray him as such especially coming
from someone who as a result of his experience should know better in very unfortunate. It amounts to political suicide for Asari Dokubo under whatever guise to continue to antagonize and scoff at other ethnic groups, especially the north over the 2015 elections.

But as the barking Asari Dokubo would not just shut it, I have had to give a deeper reflection over his senseless vituperation and verbal diarrhea. An Ibo proverb says that “the bird wey they sing on top of a tree, na someone dey play the unheard drum”.

My gut feeling now is that Asari Dokubo might indeed be taking all of us on a merry go round. He may well be a snitch or fifth columnist, compromised and planted in favour of the northern agenda for power shift.

In this case, part of the strategy is for him to assume the position of a die-hard GEJ ethnic loyalist, then continue to make gut wrenching statements that would depict GEJ and his government as ethnically sectional and in the process animate the North against the 2015 candidacy of the GEJ with an outcome of further estranging GEJ from his support base in the North which appears to be withering by the minute.

So make una help me ask Asari Dokubo which side him dey.
