Richard Mofe Damijo Denies Being Invited by EFCC…….. As Source Says It’s a lie; Prince Obaigbena pleaded for him

Veteran actor and commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Richard Mofe Damijo has denied reports that was carried by some section of the media particularly the social media that he was wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over N50 Million theft of Government funds. He said that it is not true, he cannot be involved in such a mess and that in due time, he would respond to saharareporters, an online news agency which also published the report in due course and at the right time. Although to further verify the authenticity of the claim, the EFCC has been contacted but no response yet on its position and if truly the Commissioner was at anytime wanted. However, a source close to government house who does not want his name to be mentioned said “it’s a lie, our honorable Commissioner ran to UK to meet Prince Nduka Obaigbena, aka Duke, the Editor-in Chief of Thisday press who called the presidency and EFCC boss, Ibrahim Lamode and pleaded that they should leave R.M.D alone, stressing that the money in question is only N50 Million. “
