Delta 2015: No power shift – Ominimini

The National chairman of Urhobo Political Movement (UPM) who is also Commissioner representing Ughelli North and Ethiope East Local Government Areas on the board of DESOPADEC Emaye Obiewevre, popularly known as Ominimini, has declared no power shift in Delta State come 2015.

He made the statement at Agbarho, Ughelli North council area while fielding questions from newsmen during the inauguration of Ughelli North chapter of Urhobo Political Movement (UPM).

According to him, those clamouring for power shift in Delta State come 2015, are not sincere and looking for their personal interest at the detriment of the generality of Deltans.

While emphasising that it is only a credible candidate that will occupy Government House in 2015, he said, Deltans will resist anybody with hidden agenda.

“We don’t want somebody who will come to Government House to implement the ethnic agenda, adding those aspiring to occupy the State Government House come 2015 and have the aim of serving their personal agenda will be resisted by all Deltans.

While speaking further, he noted that the syndrome of looting and the era when people go to the Government House with the purpose of looting the State treasury is gone.

Hear him, “So in 2015 we have resolved that come rain come sun we are not going to select our candidate based on party line rather our yardstick of selection of candidate for Government house will be on credibility, purposeful leadership and those that have the interest of Deltans at heart.
He charged the newly inaugurated chapter of UPM to work hard to ensure that the movement wins all the Local Government Areas of the state.
